2025 NFL Draft order: Browns move into top three with loss to Ravens, Giants no longer at No. 1

The Cleveland Browns suffered a nasty 35-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday afternoon and couldn’t get any worse than the third pick. He also assured that the New York Giants could not capture the top spot. The first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft will be made by one of these three teams (depending on Sunday’s results): the Patriots, Titans or Browns.

Week 17 saw a major shakeup at the top of the 2025 NFL Draft order. The New York Giants, who had controlled their destiny to hold the No. 1 spot before Week 17, scored 45 points to upset the Indianapolis Colts. And if that wasn’t enough, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Tennessee Titans and the Las Vegas Raiders won their second consecutive game after winning only two of their first 14 to start the season. According to CBS Sports Research, three teams with three or fewer wins are winning in the same week – the first time that has happened in or after Week 17 since 2005.

Those results yielded the following results: The New England Patriots now hold the top spot, followed by the Titans, Browns, Giants and Jaguars. If the Patriots lose to the Bills in Week 18, they will officially hold the lead with the No. 1 pick.
