NBA Power Rankings: Cavaliers-Thunder is a battle of the best two teams, but who is No. 1?

A lot of mediocre basketball is played in the NBA regular season. Don’t get me wrong: The average in this league is pretty good. But 11 teams are within two games of .500.

You wonder who’s winning. The Minnesota Timberwolves are just as average. No Jimmy Butler. No go Morant. no luka doncic And Kyrie Irving. Everyone aboard the Orlando Magic was injured. The Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers can’t decide if they want to be good or not. LeBron James is 40 years old. Even the Boston Celtics are in decline.

If so, there are only a few really good teams, and two that are incredible. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder are on pace to win 73 and 70 games, respectively, and they will face each other for the first time this season on Wednesday night (7 p.m. ET, ESPN).
