Rodrigo Bentancur: Tottenham midfielder taken off on stretcher after injury against Liverpool

Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was taken off on a stretcher just six minutes into the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old Uruguay international went down unchallenged as he rose to head the ball in from a corner.
Bentencur was treated on the pitch for approximately nine minutes and received oxygen before being replaced by forward Brennan Johnson.
It was later confirmed that he was conscious and talking and would be taken to hospital for further investigation.
The game was goalless at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when the Bentoncur match ended.
